Estimation Engineer Full-time Job

Estimation: Prepare detailed project cost estimates based on project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents using the Bihar Schedule of Rates and Delhi Schedule of Rates.

 

Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements, considering factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.

 

Research: Stay updated on the latest developments in construction materials, methods, and costs to incorporate current market trends into estimates.

 

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure alignment of estimates with project goals.

 

Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of estimating data, assumptions, and methodologies used in the estimation process.

 

Bid Support: Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, including the creation of detailed cost breakdowns, ensuring competitiveness in the bidding process.

 

Quality Control: Review and validate estimates for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.

 

Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to clarify and explain the basis of the estimates.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

 

Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.

 

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Bihar Schedule of Rates (BSR) and Delhi Schedule of Rates (DSR).

 

Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Proficient in estimation software and tools.

 

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate estimates.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator - CPE).

 

Familiarity with other regional schedules of rates.

 

Previous experience working on government or public-sector projects.
